When I first talked with F I understood that this wedding would be very different from all other experience. A very deep connection started since the very first moment, and I understood that in someway F was able to see and to read very deeply in my photography, she gave a name to some thoughts until then undefined.
So I flew to Paris (Monica) and I tried to capture this wedding free from any stereotypes, as I usually do, but this time even more confident that they would understood and accepted any images.
As they wrote in their wedding invitation: “In a sense our wedding will reunite what each of us thrive to aspire to: staying true to ourselves with simplicity and honesty. In light of our different cultural and religion heritage, and in respect of this difference, we wanted to celebrate the very essence of what brought us together: Love “, so I tried to perceive this point of contact between their family and roots and to capture honestly what was happening.
F and Y asked me to maintain their wedding as much intimate possible, so I took this opportunity to try tell their union in a very secret and intimate way. This selection try to tell about them even without never really show them.
Thanks to Monica Leggio that accompanied me in this journey and who captured some of these images.
